Congrats to the new hires!

It is, however, quite disapointing how Rutgers handles this search. The positions of SK and SS are (I assume) the positions joint with the math department. These positions were not well advertised outside the math community. With the wealth of candidates on the market, many people didn't even know that Rutgers CS was hiring, except in crypto, which was widely advertised on the blogs.

Anyway, it appears to be a great year at Rutgers (and Princeton) and at other places for complexity people. Where are the algorithms people? I guess they are mostly going to industrial research.

From the math advertisement: "hiring priorities in Algebra and Applied Probability, but outstanding candidates in any field of pure or applied mathematics will be considered. In regard to one of the positions the Department is particularly interested in applicants with fields of research that would make a joint appointment with another department/institute a possibility"

I am glad the joint positions Math filled happen to work out with CS.
