Gaussian Legend

Gauss kept a blog (a journal used to be called they were), and left some puzzles behind; also, he is the subject of stories retold. I heard two sorta jokes in which he makes an appearance:

• Q: What is the best known dad-son mathematician team? A: Gauss and his father.
• Q: Who was Seidel of Gauss-Seidel method? A: Gauss's programmer.
